UKAS Water Sampling

Fosse Water Treatment can provide water sampling services through UKAS-accredited laboratories to manage your sampling and testing needs.

As our client you can expect the very highest quality of water sampling, including a full range of analytical testing and a full results service with all trace-ability and testing standards explained.

Whether sampling is a requirement highlighted from your risk assessment, you have swimming or hydro pools or even if you are just worried about your water quality; we can advise and sample accordingly to ensure full legal compliancy. All samples are accompanied by the necessary certification.

Legionella Pathogens

Our UKAS water sampling analysis identifies pathogens such as Legionella. It also assesses potability and indicator organisms such as coliforms/E-Coil, TVCs and Pseudomonas.

Drinking Water Inspectorate

In addition to the accuracy of industrial water sampling, the Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI) advises that any laboratory testing of drinking water supplies for both private and public water supplies, is done on premises that meet regulatory requirements.

Therefore, the UKAS water sample must be tested by laboratories that have in place a system of analytical control that are checked by an approved body. In England and Wales this body is UKAS.

The laboratory we use at Fosse Water Treatment is UKAS accredited and has undergone regular audits to achieve and maintain that standard.
